In a time where technology is a huge part of people's lives, the true beauty of nature can often be forgotten. That's where the idea for the collection 'Nature Encapsulated' stemmed from. Various textile techniques are combined together to walk you through the changing seasons and to capture the true beauty of the corresponding season. Spring focuses on the emerging bright fresh blooms, whilst Summer is inspired by a beautiful, delicate flower meadow. Dried flower heads and leaves directly influences the Autumn collection. Winter is inspired by icy frozen leaves and naturally occurring wintery plants and flowers.

 

My designs focus on intricate details and each piece is finished to a high standard. I incorporate a diverse range of techniques together such as hand embellishment, machine and hand embroidery, devore, laser cutting, digital print, flocking, foiling, screen print and handmade flowers. Including a mixture of techniques within the collection enables me to illustrate the true essence of the changing seasons. Luxurious fabric are combined with the range of techniques to enhance the designs. I create modern fresh textiles designs, for fashion, which appeals to the young, with a feminine haute couture feel.
