DMC's flexi hoops are made from a flexible plastic that allows you to gently push the inner white hoop out, insert your fabric and lock both hoops back together, ready to start embroidering. 
 
The frame has a wood effect finish with a small ring at the top so you can display your embroidery in your home. There's no screw required with DMC's Flexi hoop so you don't need to tighten the hoop.
